Pura Vida - New Thai Villa Resort in Pai

While the bike on the highway leading from Pai in northern Thailand, I kept looking at some very attractive signs on the road to a place called Pura Vida. The name "Pura Vida" evoked some memories I had Costa Rica, Pura Vida, where (literally translated as Pure Life) is a popular greeting and attitude that is an integral part of Costa Rican culture.

I am interested in finding Pura Vida in Thailand, I followed the signs and ended up on a small hillside town located about 5 km from the town of Pai. Built on an orange orchard, this charming boutique resort has 8 bungalows beautifully landscaped gardens - is central to a large pond with water lilies and other aquatic plants

admiring gardens, the owners - middle-aged Dutchman, and his wife, Thai-invited me to join them for a cup of freshly brewed coffee hilltribe. Interview with the Dutchman, he gave a little history about how he ended up in Thailand as the hotel owners. Of course, his decision to move revolves around meeting a beautiful Thai lady who later became his wife. We found around me, I was impressed with the solid construction is relatively spacious bungalows. When I asked the owner about the name of the place, he admitted that he had visited Costa Rica - a little later, when he decided to build a tourist resort in Thailand, he decided that Pura Vida should be a catchy name for your new place. He is absolutely right - Pura Vida is name of most tourists will remember
